A quick post to let you know that Gummy arrived on Thursday, February 28 at 7:05pm. She weighed in at 7lbs3oz, with her dad's big eyes and jet black hair. We are completely swept off our feet by this little miracle.
I should have known my make-up would be messed up today. I've been obsessively checking your blog with hopes of this incredible news. Tears are streaming here. Amazing.

Oh! Oh! Oh! She is the most beautiful, exquisite, perfect baby in the world. (I say this as the mother of a couple of pretty good babies, one of whom rolled under the sofa while I was mopping up all my tears after reading this.) Look at that nose! Look at those lips! That wee hand! Breathtaking. I am so grateful to this universe for bringing her safely into the world and for finding just the right set of arms to put her in.
Oh hooray!!! So thrilled to hear of Gummy's arrival! She is beautiful and looks oh so cuddly! Soak it all in dear friend, enjoy these first memories together as a family and know that the good moments will be something to cherish forever and in the difficult challenging moments remind yourself that this too shall pass. So much love to you all!
She is absolute perfection! I'm so thrilled for you. This time will be a haze later so take video of her at least once a week! They change so fast. She's stunning and I could not be happier for you!!!
Have been following your blog for about a year now but have never commented--wanted to tell you your story touched my heart and I'm so glad to see it end (and a new chapter begin) with such happiness. Congrats on your beautiful little miracle!
